School Board

ACT schools are legally required to have a school board by the Education Act 2004 .

The school board consists of staff and community members. Their role is to collaboratively set the strategic direction of the school and foster a professional environment.

Typically the board consists of the school principal, staff members, representatives from the P&C, and a community member appointed by the Directorate. The board will also appoint several special interest members with professional skills to assist with furthering the identified strategic direction.
